Please be aware that the names and addresses of all members and all attenders who have given their consent are published in the Area Meeting Address Book and will also be added to the national register maintained by Britain Yearly Meeting. If you do not wish your name to appear, please contact Wendy Whitmore (address as in the Address Book) who will ensure that your name is not included in the published lists. Holders of the Address Book should remember that the book is only intended to provide contacts for Quaker business (and of course for social events); please do not allow the list to be used for any other purpose.

Claiming Money for Expenses

Area Meeting (AM) will reimburse you for any reasonable expenses incurred on AM business - including attending conferences when appointed by the AM.

The AM also has some bursary funds available to provide for the education of Friends within the AM. If you would like to apply for bursary help, you are encouraged to discuss the matter either with the AM Clerk or Treasurer, or alternatively with local Overseers or Elders who can approach the AM on your behalf.

In order to claim expenses, please complete an expenses form (downloadable here) and send to the address on the form. Please provide receipts where possible.

Please note, in order to maintain a sufficient audit trail for the accounts, it is not possible to accept expenses claims sent via email.
